Casa Nilde Bed & Breakfast - Positano

The location is fine, but honestly, the bed was extremelly firm and gave me some serious hip pain. Oh, and the shower was way too small for my taste. I almost thought of leaving a good review, but I expected a welcome gift to compensate for my discomfort. Disappointed, to say the least.

Location, location, and view!. Everything! Friendlyness and cooperation of lady who prepared breakfast.

Arrangements to obtain key required cell phone call as this small, charming b&b does not have a resident owner/employee! Directions to b&b should not that it is next door to 4-star Hotel Villa Franca, as the b&b is located on a one-way street in Positano with no parking nearby. So, if you drive by it you have to go around a long narrow loop road. A gps is no help as Positano is a "vertical" town on the nearly sheer cliffs.

The double room with a local feel and complimentary toiletries plus spectacular views. Amazing setting, so close to shops, Laundromat and restaurants as well as Sorrento and Amalfi and beyond.

Beds were a little hard.

Beautiful panoramic balcony views left us speechless every morning.

Unfortunately, the mobile connection in our room was very weak, difficult to plan our outings. While the breakfast was nice, the selection didn't change much . I also found the walk from the beach back to the B&B quite strenuous, especially at the end of a long day exploring Positano.

The staff were particularly helpful when I had a problem, and they made our stay very enjoyable.

Initially, the location was a concern. That dissipated as I became familair with the terrain.

Casa nilde bed & breakfast was a dream! The beautiful double room had amazing views overlooking the sea. We loved having breakfast on the balcony every morning, enjoying fresh orange juice and pastries. The staff, especially luigi and francesco, were cute and offered great tips for our stay.

Newly renovated hotel in an amazing building with magnificent views of the village and sea. Modern room with personalized services and an amazing bathroom. Pretty friendly staff members, amazing location right by more touristy areas, and Praiano and Amalfi. Excellent food in the restaurants such as la terrazza, located 10 min away.

Not having a receptionist or someone to contact when we arrived late at night. There was no one in the b&b to contact or speak to if we needed anything

The room was spacious, clean and decorated with new furniture. The view from the balcony was nice and overall it was a peaceful place to stay in.

For the first person taking a shower, the temperature of the water was good, but the second person had to take shower with cold water. Although Casa Nilde is very close to the 'interno Positano' bus stop and hence convenient to reach when coming to Positano from the main road; it is not very convenient to reach when traveling to Positano from the sea as there is a tough uphill walk and many stairs from the port to the main bus stop, which should be considered when planning the journey. Unfortunately, when we asked through email for the easiest and most comfortable way to reach the B&B with luggages, the owners did not mention this detail to us.

Oh my gosh, the hospitality was, like, very nice! Francesco totally, giving us all the best tips on where to eat and chill. Breakfast on the balcony was, like, a feast, with fresh fruit and pastries. The clean room had this cozy vibe-definitely coming back for more!

The location was good but the stairs could be difficult for some people. Long walk down the road, there is however a small bus that services the town. It was beautiful to look out the French doors and watch the fishing boats.

The breakfast was ok but could be improved for a B & B. Beds were not really comfortable.

The amazing coastal views from our balcony made every morning feel magical.

Be prepared for a challenging walk back up from the beach, as the stairs are strenuous.

Amazing location extremely close to Positano Ferry. Just 5 min walking to city centre...
